Miss Shelly Placer - 11 Elm Avenue, Rigel Heights
Shelly Placer began her career at Mendenhall Enterprises as a file clerk but she never had any intentions of remaining in such a lowly position. Hard work, determination and a few low-cut dresses assisted her meteoric rise to Executive Assistant to the president of the company, but even that isn’t good enough for the ambitious Miss Placer. Her primary goal is to get out of Rigel Heights by replacing the current Mrs. Mendenhall with a newer model, namely herself.
Delilah, Shelly and Francis Mendenhall’s daughter, is a precocious and outgoing child who stole her father’s heart and managed to do what her mother couldn’t quite accomplish even though she is barely out of diapers. She lured her father away from the Bay and into their lives but happiness was not to be. Francis was forced to move out just before Delilah’s childhood birthday.
Francis Mendenhall experienced an epiphany after the birth of his new daughter and uprooted himself from his cushy enclave to move in with his long-time mistress and their daughter in Rigel Heights. He’s happy, but this isn’t exactly what Shelly had in mind.
Update! Shelly wasn’t about to put up with an old man without some financial compensation. Francis was unceremoniously thrown out after just a few months but his wife wouldn’t have him back either so he has gone to live in Starlight Apartments
