Cwik Family - Kitty, Talia, Kitty’s fiance Xavier Mendenhall Cwik Terrace, Orion Bay
The Cwik family once danced under the same gilded chandeliers as the other members of Orion Bay society, but difficulties have displaced the Cwiks from the social register. Their home, Cwik Terrace, has been quietly deteriorating due to the misfortunes of the family but a new generation may bring things back to the way they once were.
Talia, the matriarch of the Cwik family, has rarely been seen outside of her home since the unfortunate incarceration of her husband Vernon on charges of embezzlement, the social embarrassment after having fallen so low would just be too much but she never doubted her husband’s innocence and fought to the last penny to free him from prison.
Update! Introduced to Paul (a resident of Horizon’s Rehab) at her daughter’s wedding to Xavier, Talia was immediately enchanted and began divorce proceedings to free herself from her incarcerated husband. She married Paul soon after.
Kitty has been in love with Xavier since junior high and waited patiently while he dated Veronica Bettencourt until finally he had come to his senses and returned to her. Kitty’s focus is on family, the one she plans to have with Xavier and the one she is hopes to help get back on their feet. With her history degree, Kitty would like to land a job in a law firm so she can help free her father from prison and clear his name of the ludicrous accusations that have destroyed her family. Kitty is a former resident of Wingate Hall @ Hunter College
Update! Kitty is a star on the rise at her law firm and is appealing and torting her way to freeing her father from prison.
Xavier spent almost 4 years at Hunter waking up enough to realize that stable, secure Kitty was a better choice than pampered, high maintenance Veronica, but just when he did wake up his father and sister attempted to throw roadblocks in the way of his happiness. So far, Xavier has outwitted them but with the responsibility of keeping the Cwik household solvent resting on his shoulders, who knows how long that will last. During his years at Hunter, Xavier lived in Wingate Hall. He is a member of the affluent Mendenhall Family
Update! Unable to find employment in the public sector, thanks to his sister, Xavier took an over-paying job as a cashier at his mother’s flower shop and has found that he enjoys the service industries.
Francis Xavier III, nicknamed Trip to eliminate confusion with his father and grandfather, is running his poor mother ragged and he’s still in diapers. He’s going to be handful when he reaches toddler-hood.
Paul won Talia’s heart after being introduced to her by his former rehab co-resident Catherine Mendenhall and moved into Cwik Terrace as soon as the ink was dry on Talia’s divorce papers. Dr. Holdon says Paul is well enough to leave the center, but his penchant for games of chance means that it is Talia who is taking a chance.
